STORY OF THE PICTURE
At DEPO2015, Pilsen, Czech Republic, where I had the honour to exhibit my moto-themed paitings, one visitor said, “But that differential gear is really good!”
“Oh, so this is a differential gear, huh? Hm…”
I don´t know the first thing about that, but I find gearboxes incredibly fascinating visually. The design, the simplicity, no extra stuff – just pure function.
The paintwork has a kerosene tint and is done in classic oil painting. It is rather expressive, with noticeable brushstrokes.
The exact shade is difficult to convey digitally, so please take the photos as illustrative. I will be happy to show you the painting in person at my studio.
Can be hung portrait or landscape.
