THE STORY OF DEEP BLUE FOREST
The inspiration for the painting came from a photograph of a deep forest veiled in mist — diffused light in a hazy atmosphere, a subtle glimmer of hope in the heart of the darkness.
The particular shade of blue is difficult to capture in photographs, which is why I recommend coming to see the painting in person.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PAINTING
This is a rather dark painting, and its overall impression changes significantly depending on the lighting conditions. It looks different in direct daylight and again under evening interior lighting.
This modern, dark-toned painting for the home is finished with a glossy varnish, which adds yet another layer of visual depth, especially when interacting with the surface texture of the canvas.
