STORY OF THE PICTURE
I love the large almost-black paintings that act as a solitaire in the interior.
The painting has a distinct texture left over from previous dripping. It’s pretty normal for me to repaint one canvas over and over, tweak it, paint it, and then repaint it again.
Until finally the process dies down.
And it’s done.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PICTURE
It is a standard acrylic on canvas, on which is applied a delicate painting in artist’s acrylic with a slight tinge of blue.
Please note that the shade in the photos may not match the reality, so I would be happy if you come and see the painting in person.
And the stripe, that’s really golden.
It’s 24 carat gold leaf, which is properly varnished, just like the painting itself, to make the whole resist the ravages of time longer.
