STORY OF THE PICTURE

Long Path is an original symbolic landscape oil painting featuring a birch-lined path that draws the viewer into a mysterious inner landscape. Suspended between realism and abstraction, the painting invites quiet reflection and leaves its destination open to personal interpretation.

Yet the perspective does not lead to the expected conclusion — the light at the end of the tunnel. Instead, it feels as though the path opens into something closer to a dark void. A space that absorbs and transforms light.

From this depth, small points of light emerge. At first, they may appear as a random splash.
But what do they actually represent?
Thoughts, shapes — or perhaps fears?

Here, the avenue offers a path in a dual sense — a journey through the outer landscape as well as the inner one.

The path as a destination.
The path as a mirror to oneself.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PAINTING

DESCRIPTION OF THE PAINTING

This original oil painting stands on the boundary between landscape and abstraction. Delicate glazes create depth and atmosphere, while the motif of birch trees introduces rhythm and structure into the composition.

The central space disrupts the expected perspective, creating a tension between the familiar and the unnameable. The landscape becomes more than a place — it transforms into an inner space, a reflection of memory, perception, and emotion.
