STORY OF THE PICTURE
This painting came about completely spontaneously. The painting features a cyclical repetition of various shades of color, from dark blue to blue, green, orange, and light yellow.
After finishing the painting, I looked at it and tried to figure out what it actually was. At first, it reminded me of a Czech TV bedtime story with the ghost Barbucha, and then it reminded me of some kind of beetle. That, in turn, evoked Kafka’s Metamorphosis.
The painting is both lively and calm at the same time, depending on how much attention you want to give it in your interior.
It is a painting in oil paints combined with oil pastels. Everything is varnished and ready to hang on the wall.
