STORY OF THE PAINTING

This painting was created using a combination of two techniques – some parts were painted by wiping acrylic paint, others by dripping it freely onto the canvas. Layer by layer, a spontaneous texture emerged.

What fascinates me about these methods is their unpredictability. The artist can’t fully control the outcome, unlike in traditional brushwork. The paint has its own will. It flows, seeps, pools – following intuition rather than plan.

That’s exactly why I named the painting Sprouting.

When something sprouts, it bursts into the world freely – without rules. It’s freedom, movement, life.
